Components for Monitoring and Control

Process-stable and reproducible metering

Metering processes are generally defined by short cycles, high repetition rates and strictly given tolerances. Moreover, the shots being applied are often only minuscule amounts of material, in which case it is all the more important that the metering be reliable, accurate and reproducible. Modern production processes require a detailed monitoring of the process capability and the repeatability of applications. These requirements must be carefully defined right at the start and considered in the system concept design. DOPAG offers a comprehensive portfolio of process monitoring and control technology, including gear flow metering cells, light barriers, pressure sensors and metering control units. System concept designing at DOPAG involves our engineers working closely with the customer to align process control and monitoring mechanisms with the application requirements, and combining them with the appropriate pumps and metering components.

  1. Gear Flow Meter

    Gear Flow Meter

Developed specifically for use in DOPAG metering systems, the flow meter is used for measuring the exact material flow rate at any given moment.

  2. Light barrier

    Light barrier

The light barrier is used with shot and high-speed valves to monitor the number of discharged shots.

  3. Metering control unit

    Metering control unit

The control unit has been designed for the monitoring and control of complex metering processes. It simplifies metering by enabling users to store and recall various programmes.

  4. Micro-Flow Sensor

    Micro-Flow Sensor

The micro-flow sensor is a flow detection device, used with needle metering valves to confirm that material is being dispensed.

  5. Pressure sensors

    Pressure sensors

Pressure sensors for the monitoring of material pressure in complex dispensing processes using shot or spray valves.

  6. Stroke detection

    Stroke detection

The stroke detection device reliably monitors the correct activity in various dispensing and metering valve types.
